I finish work at 5 to 6, get the bus at past, have my tea at half past. Make plans, think about whether they're worth doing. The people I'll meet are they worth speaking to? Am I keeping up appearances or really being true?

In dark of night every atheist half believes.

I saw shadows move and didn't care for the faces. The details, the contours, just an outline, that I would recognise whatever my state.

I wrote some poetry. It's not bad, I think. Probably the first stuff I've enjoyed since starting work.

I'm going to start a short story called 'A Few Lights in a Dark World' sometime soon. It's a brief idea at present. Basically, it'll be about how there are things that keep us going, despite the pointlessness of everything.

Love at first sight, may sound trite, but it's true y'know.
